Sorry this post took forever to post. I had it done, but I just forgot about it. :]
Now for what the Chinese have to say about me. Apparently there are a few things they have to say. I was aware that person not only has an animal sign, but also an element. But I was not aware that there were also inner and secretive animal traits as well. On the outside, I am a Metal Horse. But I am an inner Rooster and secretively a Dragon. This means I am born as a Metal Horse, wish I was a rooster, but really am a Dragon. Crazy, huh?
Okay, so a horse is typically lovable, witty, free-spirit, enthusiastic, independent, creative, optimistic, has a long life. They also tend to be anxious, childish, defiant, selfish, gullible, quick-tempered, rebellious, and talk too much.
Sounds kinda like me I guess… I the negatives seem to be more true. (I was voted child at heart for Yearbook after all)
Metal elemented (is that even a real word?) people tend to be unyielding, rigid, persistent, and full of strength and determination. They are self-reliant and prefer to handle their problems alone. The are also materialists, business oriented, and good at organization and stability. Much like how metal conducts electricity, metal person has strong impulse and can change others around them. Courage and grief are typical aspects of a metal person.
HAHAHAHA, this isn’t me at all! I guess I’m stubborn to a certain extent, but nothing like this!
Despite the fact that I am a “Metal Horse,” I wish to be a rooster. They are acute, neat, meticulous, organized, self-assured, decisive, conservative, critical, perfectionist, alert, zealous, practical, scientific, and responsible. They can also be over zealous, critical, puritanical, egotistical, abrasive, and opinionated.
Actually, this is kinda interesting. I may not be too neat and organized, but the other qualities actually fit! I can get really nit-picky with details, but that’s when I mess around which goes together with kiddy nature.
And as if this couldn’t get any more confusing. Deep down inside, I’m a a dragon. They tend to be magnanimous, stately, vigorous, strong, self-assured, proud, noble, direct, dignified, zealous, fiery, passionate, decisive, pioneering, ambitious, generous, loyal. Although they can be arrogant, imperious, tyrannical, demanding, eccentric, grandiloquent and extremely bombastic, prejudiced, dogmatic, over-bearing, violent, impetuous, brash.
Well that seals it, I actually am a sort of hodgepodge of all these sorts of animals. I guess in the end, this whole Chinese Zodiac thing makes sense.
Conclusion:
Although not 100% accurate, looking into my Name, Astrological, and Chinese Zodiac signs have given me a few insights into my own personality. It’s pretty interesting to see if I actually fit my name and signs. Although in the end, it’s probably me who decides who I am.
